Weymouth Vietnam Veterans And Those Lost At Sea

Every year as part of the Town Of Weymouth's Memorial Sunday services, the American Legion and the Sons Of The American Legion honor Weymouth veterans. On May 23, 2010, the American Legion Post 79 Color Guard held a rifle salute at the Weymouth Vietnam War Memorial in North Weymouth. They also honored those service members officially lost at sea with a rifle salute beneath the Stars And Stripes at Great Hill Park while a wreath was laid on Weymouth's Fore River.

Frank Burke, Weymouth's Veterans Agent and a member of Post 79 officiated the ceremonies. Mayor Sue Kay was also in attendance.
