» American Flag Etiquette Flag Disposal 2009

When the flag of the United States is so worn it is no longer fit to serve as a symbol of our country, it should be destroyed by burning in a dignified manner. Every year the Weymouth Post conducts a flag disposal ceremony open to anyone who wishes to retire their American flag.

November 11- Veterans Day Ceremonies to commence in Jackson Square at 9:00 a.m. with a parade to follow ending at the Ralph Talbot Amphitheater.

December 10- Meat Raffle, 8:00 p.m.

Every Saturday Night- starting at 8:00 p.m. there is dancing and fun to be had by all at the George Bean Post, 19 Hollis Street, South Weymouth, MA. Call 781-331-4241 for information.
